Save The Princess

You are the greatest knight in your kingdom and you were tasked to save the princess. Silly things happen during your journey and it's questionable if you'll even be able to complete your mission.

First step

You ventured into the forest where she could have gone to gather ingredients, but a river blocks your path with a few lily pads that lead to a trail. The only way to cross here is by stepping on the lily pads.

Prologue

You have been called upon by the king. He informs you that his beloved daughter, the princess, has been missing for three days. The king is deeply worried, and since you are the greatest knight in the kingdom, he needs your help. The last time he heard from the princess was her informing the king that she is heading into the forest to gather ingredients. With this knowledge, you set out to save the princess.

A different path

You go back to find another path and come across a traveler! They seem to be struggling and it's clear in their movement that they're exhausted. Should you check on them?

Time for battle

You look for a different path to your journey and come across a huge monster! The chances of you surviving this monster is low, but there might be a big chance for you to escape. There is an open path right next to the monster.

Who's there?

The monster leaves, annoyed by your jabbing. Embarrassing, but at least you can move on. You go to the trail it was blocking and you find a stone bridge. You find a figure standing on the other side of the bridge.

After looking for a different path the 3rd time, you see the dragon's castle and it's far up the hill. As you make your way to the hill, you suddenly see a huge boulder coming towards you!

Enemy appears!

You moved out of your way and quickly entered the castle without trouble. When you reach the second floor, you immediately find the dragon ready to attack!

Dodge the dragon’s attacks first then attack 

A reward!

They thank you for checking in on them and asked you where you're going. You tell them about your journey on saving the princess, and they let you know the last time they saw the princess. She was heading towards the stone bridge, which you realized led to the dragon's castle. As a token of appreciation, they hand you a potion and advise you to use it in a critical moment. They wish you luck and safety on your journey.

New friend!

The dark spirit is a cat. It purrs at you and you let it nudge you. It's clear in the cat's body language that it likes you and wants to accompany you. So it does.

Who's there?

You take the path to the stone bridge and you find a dark spirit at the other end. The spirit stays at the end of the bridge, not moving from its spot.

Walk up to them like you’re not threatened

Watch out!

You find the castle and it's far up the hill. As you make your way to the hill, you suddenly see a huge boulder coming towards you!

Finally here

You swiftly moved to the right and continued on your journey. You’re now closer to the castle, but the spirit stops you. It tells you to go on a straight path instead of moving everywhere else.

You enter the castle and go up the stairs. As soon as you reached the second floor, you find the dragon ready to attack!

Uh oh!

The spirit launches at you and starts consuming your whole being. The sword was unnecessary.

You crashed into the spirit to your left and tripped. You forgot it was intangible. You and the spirit go down with the boulder.

You got too worried about where you’re going that you accidentally stepped on a mine after the first three steps you took.

You charge at the dragon and it moves out of your way, making you fall out of the castle. An embarrassing end for you.

The monster easily slaps you away from the path, sending you flying.

The figure attacks you, finding you as a threat no matter what. Seems like you aren't a likable person.

You tripped on a tiny rock that was next to you. Did that spirit from the bridge curse you?

Woops

You charge at the dragon and it moves out of your way, making you fall out of the castle. An embarrassing end for you.

You throw the potion at the dragon and it transformed into a human! However, this isn't just any human. This is the prince of your kingdom who everyone believed to be dead for three years.

The prince?!

You manage to defeat the dragon by slicing off its neck. There’s no princess in sight, and you eventually went back to your kingdom once you realized the princess isn’t anywhere in the castle.

Defeated!

When you returned to the kingdom with the prince, the king was more than happy. Turns out you didn’t have to worry about the princess, since she went home right after she gave you the potion. She has been going in and out of the kingdom to collect ingredients, finding a cure to her brother. She’s known for a long time that her brother was the dragon, and she was grateful to you for approaching her and saving the missing prince. You are truly the greatest knight in this kingdom.

When you arrived, you were told the princess actually came back later on. While the king congratulated you for slaying the dragon, the princess didn’t seem too happy. You don’t know why, but at least she's safe and you have the king’s gratitude.
